(JEFFERSON COUNTY) – A Ririe man was hospitalized after crashing his pickup into a canal in Jefferson County Monday night. Idaho State Police say 40-year-old Scott Boster was driving north on 160th East when he lost control and rolled several times, landing in the canal. The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Boster was transported to EIRMC where he was listed in fair condition Tuesday afternoon. Authorities say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
