(SAN DIEGO) — The TCU Horned Frogs topped Louisiana Tech 31-24 on Wednesday night to win the Poinsetta Bowl.
TCU quarterback Casey Pachall made some history as well. He completed 15 of 29 passes for 206 yards which set TCU’s single-season records with 228 completions, 2,921 yards, and a completion percentage of 66.5, breaking marks previously held by Andy Dalton.
The Horned Frogs leave the Mountain West Conference on an eight-game win streak. The team will be heading over to the Big 12 Conference next year.
