Animal Advocate Finds Carcasses Outside Home

(HAMER) – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving a disturbing crime that happened last week in Hamer. Animal advocate Andi Elliott believes someone may be trying to intimidate her. Local News 8 reports that Elliot discovered four dead rabbits and a porcupine laying on her driveway Friday morning. Investigators say all five animals had been shot, but they don’t have enough information to tie the crime to anyone as of yet. Elliott is offering a reward to anyone with information related to this incident.
