(NEW YORK) — The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday they have reached an agreement with cornerback Stanford Routt.
The deal is said to be for three years and is expected to pay the former Oakland Raider $6.5 million in guaranteed money and $11 million this season according to sources.
Routt has played his entire seven year career with the Raiders. He was released by the Raiders at the end of the season.
Routt had a career high four interceptions and 15 passes defended last season.
