(NEW YORK) — This year’s NFL Pro Bowl has been criticized by fans and even players this year because of the poor and uninspiring play. The fans who saw the game live in Hawaii even booed the player’s effort early on. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell heard those boos, and will consider doing away with the annual game.
“We’re either going to have to improve the quality of what we’re doing in the Pro Bowl or consider other changes, or even consider eliminating the game if that’s the kind of quality of game we’re going to provide,” Goodell said.
Even though the Pro Bowl has come under fire in recent years, most notably this year, the Pro Bowl was still the highest rated sporting event of that weekend.
