James Spader to Leave ‘The Office’

Neilson Barnard/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — James Spader is resigning from The Office after one season.
Variety reports he will leave the NBC comedy at the end of the current season at his request. He plays Robert California, the CEO of Dunder Mifflin Sabre.
Spader made his first appearance on The Office during last season’s finale.
