Jeweler Refuses to Confirm or Deny Natalie Portman’s Rumored Marriage

Michael Buckner/Getty Images(LOS ANGELES) — There’s more mystery surrounding the ring Natalie Portman wore to the Oscars on Sunday.
After the ceremony, there was speculation that Portman had been wearing a wedding band, indicating that she’d secretly married the father of her baby, Benjamin Milliepied. Jeweler Jamie Wolf seemingly confirmed the alleged union in an interview with Us Weekly, saying, “I designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman.”
However, Wolf has since clarified his remarks, refusing to confirm or deny the marriage rumors to The Hollywood Reporter. Wolf says, “I designed rings for the couple and cannot attach meaning to those items.”
The rings reportedly are made of recycled platinum and conflict-free diamonds.
The 30-year-old Portman and the 34-year-old Millipied, a choreographer who worked on her film Black Swan, announced their engagement in December of 2010. They welcomed a son, Aleph, last June.
