Madonna Announces World Tour

Jamie McCarthy/WireImage(NEW YORK) — Madonna has announced the dates for her 2012 MDNA World Tour.
The tour kicks off May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel and plays some 24 dates in Europe, plus Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, before returning to the U.S. for more North American more dates, beginning Aug. 28 in Philadelphia, and including a Sept. 9 show in New York’s Yankee Stadium.
The tour is in support of Madonna’s upcoming album MDNA, which is due out March 26. If her last tour, the 2008-2009 Sticky & Sweet outing, is any indication, Madonna stands to make some serious money: Sticky & Sweet grossed over $408 million worldwide.
