Ex-Principal Waives Preliminary Hearing
Published at(BLACKFOOT) – The former Snake River Junior High School Principal accused of sexually abusing a student was back in court Thursday. Thirty-Eight-Year-Old Christopher Cox waived his right to a preliminary hearing, and has been charged with three counts of sexual abuse of a minor child under the age of 16. The alleged victim, who was 14 at the time of the incidents, has since moved out of state. Judge Charles Roos extended a no contact order between Cox and the victim until April 2. The incidents reportedly occurred on school property an in the victim’s home.
