(NEW YORK) — Alec Baldwin on Wednesday dropped a not-so-subtle hint that he’s leaving 30 Rock during a Twitter rant that targeted another NBC program: the Today show.
Baldwin was apparently upset that a Today show crew camped outside his New York City apartment building as part of a segment regarding the recent arrest of his alleged stalker.
In a series of tweets, Baldwin writes, “Outside my apt today, along side [sic] the other stalkers from the tabloid press, a crew that identified themselves as being with the Today Show….I haven’t appeared on the Today Show in many years. But did they have to camp outside my apt?….No one from NBC contacted me until the Today Show arrived at my apt. I think I’m leaving NBC just in time.”
Despite Baldwin’s suggestion that his days on 30 Rock are numbered, E! Online reports he remains committed to the comedy.
Last weekend, a Canadian actress named Genevieve Sabourin was charged with stalking after attempting to contact Baldwin.
