(IDAHO FALLS) – Allegiant Airline flights are about to get a lot more expensive. Starting today, the airline will charge up to $35 to place a carry-on bag in an overhead storage bin. Passengers will be allowed one free carry-on such as a purse or laptop, but all other bags will be subject to the fee. Airline officials in Idaho Falls say buying online could save travelers a little more on their luggage fees. Allegiant is the second airline in the nation after Spirit to charge for carry-ons.
