(POCATELLO) – Two people were arrested after a standoff with police in Pocatello Thursday afternoon. Idaho State Police received a tip about two people with warrants for their arrest, and pulled over their van in the Costco parking lot. After failing to get out of the van, police resorted to using a negotiator and some family members who showed up at the scene. Thirty-seven-year-old Tiffany Vining and 21-year-old Steven Converse-Laxton were eventually taken into custody. Officers say they found drugs and other items in the van as well.
