Suspicious Clown Offers Candy to Young Boys

(IDAHO FALLS) – Idaho Falls police are reporting what may have been an attempted kidnapping Monday. Authorities say three men driving in red SUV approached two eight-year-old boys on Moonlight Drive and Morningstar Lane. One of the men was wearing a clown mask and offered the boys candy. The boys did not respond, rushing home and telling their parents immediately. The men have not been identified. Police encourage residents to report any suspicious behavior to the Office of Public Safety at 529-1200.
