(DENVER) — The Denver Nuggets received 32 points from point guard Ty Lawson, as the Nuggets stomped the Los Angeles Lakers 113-96, forcing a Game 7 in Los Angeles.
“Just be aggressive,” Lawson said when asked what coach George Karl told him to do. “He wanted me to shoot early. He actually ran the play for me the first play of the game through, and he wanted me to shoot, So I knew that he wanted me to get in the lane or just attack. I think I play a lot better when I attack instead of playing hesitant.”
Kobe Bryant was questionable to play before the game because of stomach issues. Despite that, he still led the team with 31 points.
Game 7 will take place Saturday night at 10:30 PM ET.
