Person of Interest Named in Burley Homicide

(BURLEY) – The Cassia County Sheriff’s Office has named a person of interest in an ongoing homicide investigation. 54-year-old Russ Taft was found dead in a motel crawl space last Friday, and authorities believe a former motel employee, James Duane Ambrose, might have something to do with it. Taft appears to have suffered blunt-force trauma and was stabbed in the heart. Ambrose was last seen in Las Vegas May 7, but could be just about anywhere.
