(LAVA HOT SPRINGS) – A train struck a camp trailer as it was stuck on the railroad tracks in Lava Hot Springs Sunday night. The Bannock County Sheriff’s Office says a pickup towing the trailer was unable to get off the tracks in time, though the passengers were able to avoid the accident. The collision, which occurred at around 10 p.m., took about three hours to clean up. The crash is still under investigation.
