(JEFFERSON COUNTY, ID)  —  Four people nearly drowned during a fishing accident on the South Fork of the Snake River Thursday evening.  The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office says all four fishermen were swept through the great feeder head gates and none were wearing life jackets.  Daniel James Smith and Keysha Galiger were treated for cuts and bruises on scene.  Devin Bergman was airlifted to EIRMC with a compound fracture to the leg.  An investigation is ongoing.
