Leadore Couple Builds “Green” Cemetery

(LEADORE) – A Lemhi County couple is opening a one-of-a-kind “green” cemetery. Rancher Jim Locke says that nothing unnatural can be used in the burial process at his new “Mountain View Green Cemetery.” In addition, headstones will be carved from native rock and embalming fluids will be banned. Locke says the cemetery offers an affordable and environmentally-friendly alternative for families honoring their loved ones.
