(LOS ANGELES) — Nick Stahl, the actor who played John Connor in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, has checked himself out of rehab, according to E! News.
A source tells E! News that Stahl “walked out against doctors’ advice.” The source added, “He just didn’t want to be there anymore. …It is very sad. He’s still struggling and has yet to hit rock bottom. Everyone is extremely worried about him.”
The 32-year-old actor went missing in May, but then sent an email to friends to let them know that he decided to seek treatment at a rehab center. Stahl was last seen in downtown Los Angeles several days ago, according to E! News, but it is unclear where he is currently.
Stahl took over the John Connor role from Edward Furlong, whose own career was sidetracked by drug addiction after 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Stahl also starred in the HBO series Carnivale.
