RadarOnline reports eyewitnesses blamed Drake for the bar fight last Thursday, saying he threw a bottle at Brown, and a free-for-all between the recording artists’ bodyguards and hangers-on ensued, leaving several people, including innocent bystanders injured. The source tells RadarOnline that Brown is innocent. “Once the bottles started flying Chris did the right thing and just got the hell out of there.”

The spy explained to the gossip site, “Chris and [girlfriend] Karreuche [Tran] have been interviewed by cops and at this point it looks very likely that neither Chris, nor [she] will be charged with any criminal wrongdoing. Chris has been extremely cooperative and forthcoming with information to the investigating officers, which they are thankful for…Cops have said they probably won’t need to interview Chris again, but if needed, he would be more than willing to do so.”

Brown better hope he does avoid charges: he’s still under probation for his 2009 assault against then-girlfriend Rihanna.
