(NEW YORK) — Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista injured his wrist in the eighth inning of the Jays 6-3 loss to the New York Yankees Monday night.
Bautista hurt his left wrist after hitting a foul ball off Yankees reliever David Robertson. After the swing, Bautista dropped into a crouch holding the wrist.
Bautista will have an MRI on Tuesday to determine the extent of the injury.
The 31-year-old is tied for second in the American League in home runs with 27 and tied for third in RBIs with 65.
