(NEW YORK) — The Indianapolis Colts have signed their first overall 2012 draft pick Andrew Luck to a four-year contract, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.
The former Stanford quarterback signed a fully-guaranteed contract worth $22 million on Thursday. According to the Indianapolis Star, the deal also includes a $14.5 million signing bonus.
Luck will have big shoes to fill in Indianapolis, taking over for Peyton Manning, who is now with the Broncos.
Colts rookies are scheduled to report to training camp on Wednesday.
The No. 2 pick of the draft, Robert Griffin III signed a deal on Wednesday with Washington.
