(LOS ANGELES) — The Lakers welcomed two-time MVP Steve Nash to Los Angeles on Wednesday. The Lakers acquired the 38-year-old Nash in a sign and trade deal with the Phoenix Suns.
The eight-time All-Star agreed to a three-year deal worth $27 million, according to ESPN.
“This is a day I never foresaw in my life,” Nash said. “Just an incredible opportunity for me.”
The 16-year NBA veteran is fifth on the league’s all-time assists list with 9,916.
