Preston Soldier Dies in Afghanistan

(PRESTON) – An Idaho soldier has died during combat operations in Afghanistan. 24-year-old Pfc. Cody Moosman  of Preston was killed Tuesday when his unit came under small arms fire from enemy insurgents. Moosman joined the Army in 2010, and told his family that he loved the idea of protecting his fellow citizens. An avid outdoorsman, the southeast Idaho native was also an Eagle Scout. Moosman leaves behind his parents and four siblings.
