(NEW YORK) — The Philadelphia Flyers have signed defenseman Shea Weber to a 14-year, $100 million offer sheet according to TSN.
The 26-year-old has spent his entire career with the Nashville Predators. Nashville will have seven days to match the Flyers’ offer.
If the Predators don’t match the offer, TSN reports the Predators could receive up to four first-round picks in compensation.
Weber is a three-time All-Star. In 78 games last season, he scored 19 goals while dishing out 30 assists.
If Weber does leave, he will join Ryan Suter as the second high profile defenseman the Predators have lost this off-season.
