(WASHINGTON) — From Sarah Jessica Parker to George Clooney, it’s Barack Obama who usually fundraises with celebrities, but the president no longer has the star market cornered. Actor Robert Duvall and his wife, Luciana, will host a fundraiser featuring Ann Romney at their Middleburg, Va., home in September.
National Journal has a copy of the invitation, and the general reception tickets to the Sept. 6 event are $2,500 per person while the VIP photo reception is $10,000 donated or raised per person. A $25,000 donation will get you into the dinner.
The Academy Award-winning actor, well known for roles in Apocalypse Now and To Kill a Mockingbird, among many others, is a longtime supporter of the Republican Party. Duvall, 81, also famously starred in The Natural, coincidentally one of the primary-night campaign songs used by Romney’s primary rival, Rick Santorum.
