(NEW YORK) — The Phoenix Suns have re-signed guard Shannon Brown to a two-year, $7 million contract, but only half of the second year’s $3.5 million salary is guaranteed.
“I’m definitely honored to have the opportunity to come back and use my skills to try to help this franchise do some great things, and I’m very appreciative and thankful,” Brown said. “I think we can have a great season and great years and great times ahead of us.”
The 26-year-old shooting guard out of Michigan State averaged career highs in points (11) and rebounds (2.7).
Brown is one of only six members returning from last year’s team.
