Water Source Discovered in Namibia

Digital Vision/ThinkStock(LONDON) -- In the sub-Saharan African country Namibia, the government and researchers from EU countries like Germany have discovered an aquifer that could supply the country up to 400 years in water use, according to the BBC.

The untapped aquifer is located under the boundary between Angola and Namibia and is named Ohangwena II.

Officials are looking into drilling procedures to possibly extract the water.
