Aggressive Solicitors Catch Attention of Police

(REXBURG) – Area law enforcement officials are warning residents about aggressive door-to-door sales people. Many of the scams involve magazine subscriptions and fundraisers for events out of the country. Officials caution that unless you know the solicitor personally, it’s often best to simply close the door. Local News 8 reports that police in Rexburg have received several complaints in the last few days, one of which led to an arrest. Authorities urge concerned citizens to purchase a “No Soliciting” sign as a precaution.
