Crane Falls on Worker in Blackfoot

(BLACKFOOT) – A falling crane crushed a construction worker in Blackfoot Monday morning. Police say the 35-year-old victim was trying to take the crane apart in the Walmart parking lot to put it on a flatbed truck. Emergency crews responding to the scene were able to lift the crane and remove the man from underneath the boom. He was later airlifted to Portneuf Medical Center, though his name and condition have not been released.
