GOP Holds Annual Barbecue

(IDAHO FALLS) – Hundreds of Idaho Republicans gathered in Idaho Falls Thursday for their annual summer barbecue. KIDK reports that guests included U.S. Sen. Jim Risch and State Superintendent Tom Luna. Both the senator and the superintendent say they’re excited about GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s running mate, Paul Ryan. Organizers say the meeting serves to foster friendship and cooperation among Republican leaders and supporters.
