(LOS ANGELES) — A day after TMZ reported Lindsay Lohan was reportedly banned from Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont hotel for allegedly skipping out on a $46,000-plus bill, the actress claims it’s not her fault.
The gossip site now reports Lohan insists Lifetime promised to cover her hotel expenses while she worked on the network’s Elizabeth Taylor biopic Liz & Dick. But a source tells TMZ her claim is bunk.
The source explains the production did front Lohan a “one-time only” advance of $5,000 so she could move into the hotel last June — but “never” said she had an open tab.
If Lifetime refuses to cover the staggering bill from the actress’ 47-day stay at the famed hotel, Lohan claims she’ll “happily” pony up.
