(JEROME) – Local, state, and federal law enforcement officials have discovered yet another marijuana-growing operation, this time near Jerome. Officials found a dozen plots with over 1,100 plants, all with a street value of about $2.2 million. The plants were growing in corn fields, and none of the land owners were aware that they had marijuana growing on their property. Nearly 40,000 plants were uprooted in a massive raid near Grace this week, following a raid of 6,500 plants near Gooding last week.
