(LATROBE, Pa.) — Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said he has a “little torn rotator cuff” in an interview with the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
“This happened the Baltimore game at home (last November 6),” Roethlisberger said when addressing the media. “You didn’t see any drop-off in my play last year throwing the ball and you haven’t seen any yet. You guys wouldn’t have known about it if we hadn’t talked about it.”
Big Ben also talked about how the injury effects his play.
“I haven’t seen any side effects of loss of strength or anything,” Roethlisberger said. “I take less throws; one, because of that, and two, because I am getting a little bit older and I might as well save the arm a little bit.”
This will be Roethlisberger’s ninth NFL season.
