Notre Dame vs. Navy in Ireland
Published at(LONDON) — On Saturday, the Fighting Irish are in Dublin to defend their win against Navy back in 1996 during Lou Holtz’s final season as the Irish’s head coach.
Notre Dame has a travelling party of more than 200 people, and for many of the young players, this is their first time overseas. Notre Dame will be playing without four suspended players but Navy’s coach is reminding his men they’re up against a very good team.
Navy will have the support of the Brigade of Midshipmen, who paid their own way to Dublin to be able to march on and attend the game.
