(ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.) — Buffalo Bills receiver Stevie Johnson’s groin is bothering him again and his status for the season opener versus the New York Jets is uncertain.
Johnson, who dealt with a groin injury all last season, missed practice Thursday because of his groin. Despite missing practice, Johnson doesn’t think he will be hampered by the injury all season like last year.
“I’m not concerned at all about having to deal with this like I did last year,” Johnson said. “The offseason surgery helped out a lot. I think this is just something that’ll be gone.”
Johnson led the Bills in catches, receiving yards and touchdown catches last season.
