(FORT HALL) – A Fort Hall woman will spend up to 12 years in prison on manslaughter charges. In an emotional court hearing Monday, Constance Rae Weiser expressed remorse for driving drunk the night of Sept. 6, 2011. The defendant’s husband, 47-year-old Desmond Craig Weiser, and her best friend, 33-year-old Tamara Medicinehorse, died as a result of the crash. Her attorney, Justin Oleson, described his client’s situation as “tragic.” Weiser could be released after serving a five-year fixed term.
