(LOS ANGELES) — NBC plans to air its Munsters reboot, Mockingbird Lane, as a Halloween special later this month, The Hollywood Reporter says.
According to the report, the $10 million pilot, which is based on The Munsters TV series from the 1960s, has been in development for two years with network execs torn between going forward with it or canceling the project altogether.
Mockingbird Lane stars Jerry O’Connell as Herman Munster, Portia de Rossi as Lily Munster and Eddie Izzard as the Dracula-esque Grandpa.
