(YELLOWSTONE, N.P.) – The number of September visitors to Yellowstone National Park dipped slightly this year. Park officials say more than 527,000 people entered Yellowstone last month, about 1.6 percent lower than last year’s amount. Still, it’s the third-highest attendance for the month on record. Over 3.2 million people have visited the park during the calendar year, a 1.5 percent jump from this time a year ago.
