“I’m feeling good.  I really am but you know, as an old expression goes it’s all over but the shouting,” Biden told reporters during a stop at Mimi’s Café in Virginia.  “But it feels good though, feels good.  You’ve been with me long enough to know that I’m always optimistic, but I really do feel good, the response have been great so, so far so good.”

Asked if he thinks it’s going to be an electoral college blowout Tuesday night, Biden said, “I think we’re going to win.”

“You know that old joke.  I’ll take one vote majority, but I think we have a clear shot at doing well and the so called firewall,” Biden said.  “I think we’ll win Ohio. I think we’ll win Wisconsin. I think we’ll win Iowa. I think we’ll win Nevada. I think we’ll win New Hampshire. I think Florida will be close but I think we have a real shot of winning and this state we got a clear shot of winning it, so you know, but as my grandfather would say with the grace of God and the good will of the neighbors, everything will work out right.”

“I’m looking to order.  Will you take my order?” Biden said toward the press as he held a menu to order some lunch.

The vice president held an event down the street from Mimi’s Café prior to stopping in for some food, and he asked Virginia voters to pick him and Obama on Election Day.

“I’m here to ask Virginia, please give us your vote,” Biden said.
