(LOS ANGELES) — So much has been written about Britney Spears, that it’s about time the tables were turned. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Britney is in “discussions” to write a novel partly based on her own life.
Britney’s spokesperson confirms to The Hollywood Reporter that Britney’s talking with It Books, an imprint of HarperCollins, about the project, which would “incorporate fictionalized versions of her own experiences.” The publication says the project would be similar to L.A. Candy, a novel written by reality star Lauren Conrad, about a girl who moves to L.A. and becomes a reality star.
The Hollywood Reporter predicts that Britney will likely receive a “substantial” advance for the book, based on her general fame and her current high profile as a judge on The X Factor.
