Coffee Threat: Climate Change Threatening Crop?
(WASHINGTON) -- If you love your morning cup of joe, you may not like hearing that your coffee may be going extinct.
There is new evidence that climate change could wipe out certain wild coffee plants within the next 70 years -- specifically wild Arabica coffee, the most popular kind.
Researchers at Britain’s prestigious Royal Botanic Gardens say long droughts and insect infestations are the biggest threat.
