ABC(NEW YORK) — Three will not be a crowd on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars this week.

Each of the seven remaining couples will dance with an already-eliminated pro or a troupe dancer during the Latin Trio round.

Melissa Rycroft and Tony Dovolani will team up with a male member of the dance troupe.

Rycroft explains her thought process to ABC News Radio: “Do I want to be dancing next to a female pro? Just to point out, you know, where I would be weak in this? So, I think we made the right decision.”

Kelly Monaco and her partner Val Chmerkovskiy are turning to Louis Van Amstel, who was partnered with Sabrina Bryan.

Why did they choose Van Amstel?  According to Val, “He’s the only gay man on the show, and was the only person I’d be comfortably sharing Kelly Monaco with.”

The couples will also perform to songs that pay homage to servicemen and women, in honor of Veterans Day.

Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars airs Monday on ABC at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Wow is all I can say about Melissa Rycroft’s trio Paso Doble. She handled it with 100% control and dominated the screen with her dance. Everything from her costume down to her clean lines made this routine a winner. She ended up getting a perfect score! You
just never know with DWTS and this is why I’ve got my Hopper from DISH recording the show each week. It’s got four times more space to record than other DVRs which means that I don’t have to rush to watch everything I’ve recorded. I also really enjoyed her quickstep as the music was appropriate and her costume was adorable. My DISH co-worker agreed saying that she showed energy and know-how which made it all look effortless. It was easy to tell that she was having fun. That’s pretty funny about Val choosing Louis as a partner for the trio dance.
