T-Wolves’ Chase Budinger Out 3-4 Months
Published at(MINNEAPOLIS) — Minnesota Timberwolves forward Chase Budinger is expected to miss the next 3-4 months while recovering from surgery he had to repair the torn lateral meniscus in his left knee.
The 24-year-old Budinger was injured in the fourth quarter of the Timberwolves’ game versus the Chicago Bulls Saturday, and the surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews on Tuesday.
Budinger joins a long list of injured Wolves players, including Kevin Love, JJ Barea, Ricky Rubio, Brandon Roy, and Nickola Pekovic.
Budinger has averaged 11.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game, helping the T-Wolves (5-2) to their best start since the 2001-02 season.
