(NEW YORK) — Daniel Radcliffe is usually associated with the Harry Potter films, but he was recognized on Halloween for his work in the 2012 horror film The Woman in Black.
The Woman in Black was named favorite scary movie of the year during the first annual Fright Night Awards, a celebration of horror-themed pop culture presented by a blood cancer awareness campaign called Cancer Bites. Radcliffe earned the award for favorite actor in a horror film.
Among the other winners were stars of The Twilight Saga and TV’s True Blood and The Vampire Diaries.
The winners were announced online Wednesday following a fan vote at FrightNightAwards.com.
