Gordon Scores 24 Points As Hornets Hand Bobcats 18th Straight Loss
New Orleans Hornets/NBA(CHARLOTTE, N.C.) -- Making his season debut, shooting guard Eric Gordon scored 24 points and dished out seven assists in 25 minutes of action as the New Orleans Hornets (7-23) buzzed the Charlotte Bobcats (7-23) Saturday night, 98-95.
The 24-year-old Gordon had been out of action since late April, after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
Forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist led the way for the Bobcats with 22 points, who have now lost 18 straight dating back to Nov. 26.
