Pocatello Man Hospitalized After Crash

(LAVA HOT SPRINGS) – A Pocatello man was hospitalized following a crash along U.S. Highway 30 near Fish Creek Summit just east of Lava Hot Springs.

Craig Carey, 50, was headed eastbound when he lost control of his Pontiac Bonneville on the ice and drove off the roadway. Carey’s car rolled about 100 feet down an embankment before coming to rest on its top.

Carey was taken by ambulance to Caribou Memorial in Soda Springs.

His current condition is unknown.
