(IDAHO FALLS) – Idaho Falls Police were able to nab a suspected burglar Monday morning, all thanks to a little help from Mother Nature.

Cade Thomas Dixon, 20, allegedly tried to break into more than 100 vehicles along Tabor Ave. Most of the cars were locked, but Dixon managed to take a small amount of cash and a GPS unit.

Investigators followed Dixon’s footprints in the snow to his home on the 300 block of Holbrook where he was arrested.

He remains in the Bonneville County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
