(JOHOR, Malaysia) — Sergio Garcia won the rain-shortened Johor Open at Horizon Hills on Sunday by three strokes over Jonathan Moore.
The 32-year-old Garcia began the day by birding seven of the first nine holes then reeled off four straight birdies on the back nine. He finished the event at 18-under 198 to earn his second victory of the season and his 24th career win.
“It has been a long week obviously because of the weather and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end the week,” Garcia said. “It has been a great experience as this is my first time in Malaysia and to be able to win is a treat.”
