Bryant will be joined by his Los Angeles Lakers teammate Dwight Howard in the Western Conference starting lineup.  The city of Los Angeles will be well-represented in Houston, as Bryant and Howard will be joined by Chris Paul and Blake Griffin of the Clippers.

Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant rounds out the starting five.  Durant was the MVP of last year’s All-Star Game.

Miami Heat forward LeBron James was the leading vote-getter in the Eastern Conference.  He will be joined by Heat teammate Dwayne Wade.  Boston Celtics center Kevin Garnett and point guard Rajon Rondo also were voted in by the fans.  Carmelo Anthony of the New York Knicks is the other starter.

All-Star reserves will be voted on by conference coaches and announced next Thursday.
